It has been an eventful fortnight for our industry with the announcement of travel beginning to restart.
We’re pleased to welcome the official easing of quarantine for a number of key destinations which should go some way to supporting our late summer market.
From the list of countries published last Friday, which can be found by clicking here, only 25 countries are deemed safe to travel by the FCO and also don’t impose a mandatory quarantine for 14 days upon the arrival. Please note that for Scotland, this list does not include Spain.
You can find full details of the Scottish Government’s decision on quarantine destinations by clicking here. We will continue to lobby for this decision to be reversed.
With so much confusion and information right now, it is essential that your customers receive the correct and most up to date information with regards to each individual country’s entry requirements.

Are there any risk areas under lockdown in this country?
Is the physical distancing required?
What are the health protocols for tourism services and tourists?
